About atRound

atRound was created to solve a simple problem: how to share information that is only useful in a specific place and for a limited time.

Most communication tools are built for permanence, profiles, and constant engagement. atRound takes a different approach. It is designed for situational communication — messages that matter now, in the real world, and then quietly disappear.

Built for the real world

atRound focuses on what happens outside the screen. There are no feeds to scroll endlessly, no profiles to build, and no social pressure to perform. Messages are tied to physical locations and expire automatically, keeping interactions grounded in reality.

This makes atRound suitable for local alerts, sharing resources, and creating spontaneous real-life connections — without turning communication into noise.

Intentional by design

atRound is intentionally limited. There is no public follower system, no chat timelines, and no long-term content archive. These choices are deliberate.

The goal is not to maximize attention, but to provide a tool that people can use when it makes sense — and ignore when it doesn’t.

Privacy and simplicity

atRound works without user profiles or passwords. You stay in control of what you share and when it disappears. Contact details are optional, and messages are temporary by default.

This approach reduces friction, lowers privacy risks, and allows people to participate without committing to another online identity.

Who atRound is for

atRound is for people who value clarity over noise, local relevance over global reach, and real-world interaction over digital performance.

It is not designed to replace social media — it exists to handle the situations where social media is simply the wrong tool.
