Clear answers about how atRound works, what it’s for, and what to expect when posting messages.
atRound is a here-now message board for reaching people near a place at a specific moment.
A here-now message is a public, location-based and time-related message connected to a real place and a specific moment. It helps people in or near that place see information that is useful there and then.
No account is required. You only need an email address to confirm your post.
An email address is used only to verify that you control the post. A one-time 6-digit code is sent to your email before publishing. Your email is never shown publicly unless you choose to include it in the message.
Yes. Posts are anonymous by default. You decide whether to include any contact information in the message itself.
People discover your message on the map or list only within its visibility radius. Anyone with a direct link can view an active message from anywhere. A radius from 30 to 600 meters is free, and a paid option extends it up to 1.2 kilometers.
Messages are temporary by design. Expiration keeps information relevant and prevents outdated messages from turning into background noise.
A message can stay visible for up to 3 hours for free. Duration over 3 and up to 6 hours costs €0.99. Duration over 6 and up to 24 hours costs €1.99.
The owner can edit or remove an active message while signed in. Changing paid options may change the total price. Expired messages cannot be edited or restored.
Messages should be relevant to people nearby and useful in the real world. This includes local alerts, meetups, offers, and short-term updates.
Spam, harassment, misleading content, and messages unrelated to the location are not allowed. atRound is not meant for mass advertising or long-term promotion.
No. There are no profiles, followers, feeds, or engagement loops. atRound is focused on real-world situations, not online presence.
Yes. Local businesses can post time-limited offers, updates, events, and other location-relevant messages.
Yes. Free posting is available with limits on visibility and expiration time. Paid options offer more control when needed.
Once a post expires, it disappears automatically and is no longer visible to anyone. Expired posts cannot be restored.
atRound does not track your movements. Only the location you choose for a post is used to determine visibility.
Messages are public, so users should avoid sharing sensitive personal information. Meeting in public places and using approximate locations is recommended.
If you need long-term discussions, permanent content, or broad, non-local reach, atRound may not be suitable.
